New Delhi. The law and order situation in Uttarakhand has deteriorated so much that even the Delhi high command has lost its fear. After wandering from door to door seeking the safety and security of her young children, a 90-year-old woman from Kashipur, Uttarakhand, has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, seeking justice. CM Dhami had been visiting the victim’s family for 20 years. She considered Dhami like a son. But suddenly, all her property was seized. The police began harassing her and forced her to close her business. Her son, daughter-in-law, and their children disappeared. Fed up with this, the woman wrote a letter to Delhi seeking justice. Sources say that the Prime Minister’s Office has issued instructions to the Uttarakhand government, but the elderly woman has not yet received justice. The elderly woman’s name is Urmila Agarwal. In a letter to the Prime Minister, the woman stated that her family adheres to the RSS ideology. Her younger son, Anup, has been associated with the Uttarakhand trade cell. Anup fully managed Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s first election in 2012 and then the 2017 election. He also played a very active role in the 2022 elections. Dhami has been visiting her home for 20 years. He was a friend of her son, and she treated him like a son. But suddenly, in 2023, the police began filing false cases against her son, Anup, and her grandsons, seizing their property. Fearing the police, she tried to do business in Udaipur, Rajasthan, but the police shut down the business there as well. Numerous cases were filed against her children. Urmila Agarwal’s video regarding this is also going viral on social media. She claims that after writing the letter, the police came and threatened her, saying that nothing could happen to her as long as Dhami is Chief Minister. She also asks where her children are. They don’t know. In this video, she is also addressing the PM.
Congress national spokesperson Sujata Paul says she also raised this issue. It is a matter of concern that a family associated with the Sangh is not getting justice in a BJP-ruled state, especially when the victim’s family has family ties to Chief Minister Dhami. The way the family’s business has been shut down and seized is indeed a serious matter. The central government should conduct a thorough investigation into why the Dhami government is doing this. Based on the information coming in, the PMO has given instructions to the police, but no action has been taken yet. Sujata says that law and order in Uttarakhand has completely collapsed. Corruption is everywhere. No one is being heard. Congress is continuously raising issues. The public will teach this corrupt government a lesson in the elections. End
