Rajputana Royals Team Reaches Semi-Finals

New Delhi. The Rajputana Royals team continued their winning streak in the inaugural Archery Premier League being played at the Yamuna Sports Complex here, advancing to the semi-finals. This is the team’s seventh victory in the league, and they are moving forward towards the title. The support from the spectators present here also indicates that they are deeply impressed by the shots of the team’s players. This not only assures victory but also draws attention to the rising level of Indian archery. This will certainly have the officials of the Archery Association of India, the organizer of the league, enthused.
The Chero Archers began the day by defeating the Mighty Marathas 5-1. In the second match, the Royals faced the Chola Chiefs, where Ojas Deotale led a comeback for the Royals, securing full points once again with a 6-2 win in four sets. The Knights lost 1-5 to the Prithviraj Yoddhas. The Royals secured their place in the semi-finals with their seventh consecutive win. The Knights lost 1-5, their sixth defeat in seven matches, virtually eliminating them from the race for a top-four spot. In the match between the Chola Chiefs and the Chero Archers, Chiefs veterans Brady Ellison and Deepika Kumari performed brilliantly, leading the team to a 6-2 victory. In a thrilling match, the Mighty Marathas defeated the Prithviraj Yoddhas 5-3 after a close contest. The two teams went into the decisive fourth set tied at 3-3. Royals, who won all their seven matches, are at the top of the table with 14 points and a big set win-loss difference of 29. Marathas’ win over Yoddhas is their fifth win in seven matches, taking their tally to 10 points. They too have secured a place in the semi-finals. Chiefs and Yoddhas have won three matches each to reach six points. But Chiefs are at the third spot with a set win-loss difference of 2. (Sports Editor)
