MAYOR’S NEW WORLD T20:
Lendl Simmons, Dwayne Smith, Naman Ojha, and Chaitanya Bishnoi to be captains

New Delhi. The MAYOR’S NEW WORLD T20 League, organized by Certified Global Ventures USA Inc. in Florida, USA, has announced the teams for its inaugural edition. Four internationally-affiliated teams, the Florida Hurricanes, New York Cavaliers, California Steelers, and Chicago Raiders, will face off against each other. Former West Indies opener Lendl Simmons will captain the Florida Hurricanes, while Dwayne Smith will represent the New York Cavaliers. Former Indian cricketer Naman Ojha will lead the California Steelers, while Chaitanya Bishnoi will lead the Chicago Raiders. The tournament will be held from November 5 to November 16, 2025, at the Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida. A total of 57 players will participate in the Mayers New World T20 Cricket League, including cricketers from India, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies.
Announcing the teams, league founder Brijesh Mathur said, “We are delighted to announce all four teams for the first edition of the Mayers New World T20. In addition to the captains, we also have experienced players like Dinesh Ramdin, Rayad Emrit, Kevin Cooper, Sheldon Cottrell, Fidel Edwards, and Ashley Nurse. In addition, names like Sri Lanka’s Angelo Perera and Dilshan Muneweera, and former Indian players Pawan Negi and Rishi Dhawan will add an international touch to the tournament.
