Prometheus School has already emerged as a strong supporter of shooting at the grassroots level. The school offers shooting as a structured sport from Grade 5 (9 years and above), focusing on developing technical skills, mental resilience, precision, and hand-eye coordination in students. The campus boasts an Olympic-standard indoor shooting facility with a 10-meter range featuring 10 manual targets and an SIUS electronic target system. The range also has two electronic pistols and a rifle, and all training and operations are conducted in strict adherence to ISSF rules. Students receive coaching from certified professionals, are supported by Khelo India (SAI) talent identification experts, and regularly benefit from workshops and seminars conducted by Arjuna Awardees and Olympians. Reflecting the school’s growing impact, Prometheus athletes are now competing at the national level. (Sports Editor)
