All kinds of questions have started arising regarding the government of Pushkar Singh Dhami. There is resentment among the general public, not only is everything okay inside the government. The special session called in Gairsain completely exposed the weakness of the government. The government had organized a three-day special session of the assembly in Gairsain, 300 km from Dehradun, but the session had to be ended in one and a half days. Lakhs of rupees were wasted. The strategists of the government were completely unsuccessful inside and outside the House. Or the government created a drama to hide its weaknesses. But overall the loss was of public money. Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya even says that a situation of constitutional crisis has arisen in Uttarakhand. If the situation remains the same, the public will come out on the streets and remove the government.
The Dhami government crossed all limits in the civic and panchayat elections. For the first time in the history of Uttarakhand, the government has made a record of winning panchayat and other elections by intimidation, threats, rigging, kidnapping and firing. There was massive rigging in the by-elections. Arya said that the Congress will not sit silent, our demand for discussion in the House was not heard, now we will take to the streets. Arya said that the government was not ready for discussion on disasters like Dharali and Harshil.
Opposition leader Arya is raising questions, but the situation is even more worrying. The disaster of Dharali has exposed the shortcomings of the administration. Not holding a discussion on such a big tragedy raises questions on the intentions of the government. After this, the way bullets were fired in the panchayat elections. It is surprising that there was no discussion in the House on the incident of kidnapping that took place in public. Such incidents have occurred for the first time in Uttarakhand. That too under the BJP rule. Because such incidents do not take place under the BJP rule. Due to the weaknesses of the Government, the Congress seemed to have completely dominated the Government. The Congressmen created a ruckus by carrying posters, banners etc., raising the slogan of their leader Rahul Gandhi, Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod. Congress was demanding a discussion on issues like rigging in the Panchayat Elections and the Dharali disaster, but the Government was not ready for a discussion. The situation became so grave that Congress MLAs spent the night inside the House in protest. Congress even accused the BJP of vote robbery. After the session is over, questions are being raised that what was the need to go to Gairsain by spending so much money. When the government had decided that it will not discuss any issue including the disaster of Dharali in Uttarkashi, then why did it go to Gairsain to show its full practicality. If it does not have to give any answer on the deteriorating law and order situation in Uttarakhand, then the session could have been called in Dehradun itself. A state like Uttarakhand, which is facing financial crunch, is not in a position to bear such financial loss.
