Congressmen excited as Dhami government’s departure is certain
Faction-divided Congress unites
The Sunday mail
Dehradun. Seeing the changing environment in Uttarakhand, the faction-divided Congressmen have started uniting. The weakening Congress has got new life. Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat, senior party leaders Harak Singh Rawat, Ganesh Godiyal, Pritam Singh, etc., who were considered to be bitter opponents of each other, have united under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Yashpal Arya and State President Karan Maher. Congressmen have understood that if they remain united, the public will automatically win the elections. Because today in the state, huge resentment has started brewing against the current BJP government. Due to the growing resentment against Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Congressmen have hopes of returning to power. The opposition is making serious allegations against the state government like failure in disaster management, deteriorating law and order of the state, rapidly increasing corruption. There is also an atmosphere among the general public that the government is failing on every front. Congress is making serious allegations against the state government like deteriorating law and order, rapidly increasing corruption. The party will gherao the Raj Bhawan on 26th July over various issues like law and order, corruption. Actually, the situation in the state has been deteriorating for a long time. News of issues like deteriorating law and order, illegal mining, corruption in the state have been reaching Delhi. When former Chief Minister and MP Trivendra Rawat raised the issue of mining in the budget session of Parliament and questioned the functioning of his government, the Center took notice of it. There is no doubt that the mining mafia, forest mafia and hotel mafia are also responsible for the disaster situation in the state today. After Dharali in Uttarkashi, the disaster in Tharali in Chamoli shook the whole country. Serious allegations are being made against the state government for failing in disaster management. The condition of law and order is also worrying. After the Ankita Bhandari murder case, the arrest of BJP Yuva Morcha leader Himanshu Chamoli in the case of suicide of a youth has also embarrassed the government and the party. The High Court has sought a reply from the government on the deteriorating law and order situation. The Home Secretary and DGP have been asked to respond within two weeks. Uttarakhand Congress President Karan Mahar says that among all the governments formed after the formation of the state, Dhami’s government has been the most corrupt government so far. What has not happened in Uttarakhand till date, this government has done it. All records have been broken in terms of crime. From Ankita Bhandari murder case to Himanshu Chamoli’s arrest, there is everything. All limits of hooliganism were crossed in the Panchayat elections. BJP MP Trivendra Singh Rawat has already spoken in the Parliament on the issue of mining and corruption. Former MP Tirath Singh Rawat’s letter also exposed the government’s corruption. The recent disaster in Dharali of Uttarkashi has exposed the government’s disaster management. Our leaders are being prevented from going to the disaster affected areas. The disaster in Tharali of Chamoli has also exposed the government’s management. What was done to the victims in the name of disaster in Dharali was very shocking. Facilities like drinking water and candles were not provided. A cheque of Rs. 5000 was given in the name of compensation and a joke was made. The government did not let the truth of Dharali come to the fore. How many people have died, how much loss has happened, all this has been suppressed. The government does not even have the data of tourists. An agency of the Government of India had already warned that lakes have formed in many areas of Uttarakhand. These need to be monitored during the rainy season. But the Dhami government did not take any steps. Congress will surround the Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. The next day, in-charge general secretary Shailaja will hold a meeting of party leaders in which the outline of further movement will be made. Elections are to be held in Uttarakhand after one and a half years. The current situation is worrying for the BJP. The organization and government ministers are worried about what will happen.
