The Sunday Mail
Guwahati. Union Communications and Northeast Region Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today described the inauguration of the indigenous 4G stack and 100,000 indigenous BSNL towers by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as historic. He said that every corner of the country will be connected through this stack, and every section of the society will benefit from it to make their lives easier.

The Union Minister said that whether it is the first village in a Northeastern state, a village under the Vibrant Village Program, a district with left-wing extremism, an island nation, or villages in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, all will be connected to high-speed internet, and mobile network capability will be achieved with 100% saturation in 640,000 villages across India. Scindia enumerated the far-reaching benefits of this connectivity, saying that Assam’s youth can access knowledge from around the world through the internet, Arunachal Pradesh’s weavers will be able to connect with global markets, farmers and food providers will be able to connect with the market, and patients will have access to a doctor at the click of a button. The Union Minister described this telecom connectivity as a life bridge.
