Munger. During the Bihar Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed a massive rally in support of the NDA candidate at the Naugarhi Sports Ground in Munger on Saturday. During the rally, Shah sharply targeted former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, and Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi. Shah said that Lalu Prasad Yadav is trying to make his son Tejashwi Yadav the Chief Minister, while Sonia Gandhi is trying to make her son Rahul Gandhi the Prime Minister.
Home Minister Shah said that the NDA government has freed Bihar from jungle raj and put it on the path of development. Recalling the Lalu-Rabri regime, he said that during that time, the kidnapping industry and criminals were rampant, but today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Bihar is rapidly progressing on the path of development.
Sita Temple to be built at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi
In his address, the Home Minister referred to the decision to revoke Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir as historic. He said this step was made possible under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah said that just as a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram is being built in Ayodhya, a Sita Temple dedicated to Mother Janaki will also be built at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi, Bihar. Shah also announced the inclusion of the famous Sitakund pilgrimage site in Munger district in the Ramayana Circuit. He said this will promote religious tourism and lead to economic development in the region.
