Government to Launch e-Aadhaar Mobile Application Soon

New Delhi. If you’re considering updating your Aadhaar card, you’ll soon receive good news. The Indian government is launching a new, all-in-one e-Aadhaar mobile application specifically designed to streamline personal data. Unlike the current m-Aadhaar app, the new e-Aadhaar app will allow users to update personal details associated with their Aadhaar identity cards.
This upcoming app, being developed by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), will allow users to instantly update key information such as name, residential address, and date of birth from their smartphones. This feature aims to significantly reduce the need for in-person visits to Aadhaar Seva Kendras (Aadhaar centers).
According to officials, the e-Aadhaar mobile app is expected to be rolled out by the end of this year. Once released, it will make it much easier for citizens to update their Aadhaar data.
