Delhi State Kabaddi Championship gets off to a grand start

New Delhi. The Delhi State Kabaddi Championship for senior men’s and women’s categories got off to a grand start here. Players from Delhi displayed great enthusiasm to make their teams champions. In the opening match, the North East District team started their journey with a victory in the men’s category. In the match played between North East District and Central District teams, North East District defeated Central District by a score of 31 points to 21 points. In the same men’s category, the New Delhi District team defeated the Shahdara District team by a margin of 28 points to 18 points to begin their campaign. In the women’s matches, the South West District team registered an easy victory against South District, winning by a score of 38 points to 20 points. In another women’s match, the Northwest District team defeated the North East District team by a margin of 41 points to 31 points.
Before these matches, according to Ramveer Singh, General Secretary of the Delhi State Kabaddi Association, the Delhi State Kabaddi Championship for senior men’s and women’s categories was inaugurated by Ramesh Bidhuri, former MP and President (Delhi State Kabaddi Association). On this occasion, Brahm Singh, Municipal Councilor Madanpur Khadar West, and Mrs. Yogita Singh (President Central Zone), Praveen Chauhan, Municipal Councilor Madanpur Khadar East, M.S. Tyagi (Former Vice President, DS KA), Niranjan Singh, Chairman (Organizing Committee), and other dignitaries were present. Teams from all 11 districts of Delhi are participating in this Delhi State Kabaddi Championship for senior men’s and women’s categories, organized by the Delhi State Kabaddi Association.
