Delhi State Kabaddi Championship Successfully Concludes

New Delhi. The Delhi State Kabaddi Championship has been successfully concluded here. On this occasion, Niranjan, the Chairman of the organizing committee of the Delhi State Kabaddi Association, said that the Delhi State Kabaddi Championship for senior men and women was successfully held at DDA Ground Pocket F & G, Sarita Vihar, Madanpur Khadar, New Delhi.
In the men’s category of this Delhi State Kabaddi Championship, the Dwarka district South West team easily won the championship title by defeating the Sarita Vihar district South-East team by a score of 31 points to 19. The Sarita Vihar district South-East team secured the second position. The Rohini district North West and Mehrauli district South teams shared the third position. In the women’s category, the Pilanji district New Delhi team secured the first position and won the trophy by defeating the Dwarka district South West team by a score of 43 points to 21. The winning team looked completely dominant, and this advantage worked in their favor. In this category, the Dwarka district South West team secured the second position. The Mehrauli district South and Sarita Vihar district South East teams shared the third position. At the conclusion of this competition, Virendra Sachdeva (State President, Bharatiya Janata Party), Ramesh Bidhuri (President, Delhi State Kabaddi Association and former Lok Sabha MP), Vijender Dhama (District President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Mayur Vihar), Brahm Singh (Municipal Councillor, Madanpur Khadar West), Mrs. Yogita Singh (Chairman, Central Zone), Sanjeev Sharma (OSD to the Chief Minister of Delhi), Sanjeev Singh (Municipal Councillor, Ashok Vihar), Praveen Kumar (Municipal Councillor, Madanpur Khadar East), Mr. Guglani and Mr. Sood (Sarita Vihar Senior Citizens Association), Shraju Nirmal, Yogesh Bhati, Sumit Verma, Ajit Singh, Surendra Singh (Sanjay), Narendra Dabas, Suresh Mann, Mrs. Pooja Sharma (Manager, Indian Women’s Kabaddi Team) and other dignitaries were present. According to Ramveer Singh, General Secretary of the Delhi State Kabaddi Association, based on the performance of the players in this State Championship, male and female players were also selected for the training camp of the National Kabaddi Championship.
