Focus on Temple Independence and Sanatan Welfare

New Delhi, February 15: The Hindu Shree Foundation on Sunday announced its Executive Committee for 2026–27 during a meeting held in the national capital, reaffirming its commitment to temple independence, restoration of ancient temples, and the welfare of the Hindu community.
The meeting was formally inaugurated by Founder–Convenor Dr. Kaushal Kant Mishra, who outlined the Foundation’s core vision centered on safeguarding Sanatan heritage and strengthening community institutions.
The newly announced Executive Committee includes Shri Laxmi Goyal, Dr. Bhurelal and Justice Shiv Kirti Singh as Patrons, while the Guiding Council features Shri Rambhadracharya, Pujya Vijendra Saraswati Ji (Shankaracharya, Kochi), Shri Subhash Kashyap, Shri Makhanlal Ji, Shri Amod Kanth and Shri T.R. Ramesh.
Dr. Shiv Chaudhary has been appointed President, Shri Manoj Gariola and Dr. Vinay Goyal as General Secretary, and Dr. Chitranjan Khetan as Treasurer.
Following the announcement, members highlighted their roles and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the Foundation’s objectives.
Several initiatives were proposed, including advocacy for temple autonomy, structured efforts for restoration of ancient temples, and broader Hindu welfare programmes. Patron Shri Laxmi Goyal emphasized the importance of keeping the Sanatan family united and highlighted the work being done through Akal Vidyalaya institutions in Vanvasi regions. He also announced to unite the work of Hindu Shree and Akal Vidyalay in remote places in country .
President Dr. Shiv Chaudhary stressed the need to expand the Foundation’s outreach and called for responsible media representation of Sanatan philosophy, urging platforms to prioritize informed voices.
Treasurer Dr. Chitranjan Khetan underscored the need for policy-level changes in CSR regulations to facilitate greater corporate contributions toward temple-related activities as historically temples were “social centre” but due to social neglect and political interference currently now limited only as “Ritual Centre”.
The meeting concluded with a formal vote of thanks by President Dr. Shiv Chaudhary.
