Anti-Paper Leak Bill: A Milestone in India’s History – Dr. Satish Poonia

New Delhi, । Dr. Satish Poonia, MP and former Rajasthan BJP State President (also in-charge of Haryana), stated that the Narendra Modi-led central government is deeply sensitive to the future of the country’s youth. From providing employment to lakhs of young people to encouraging startups, the Modi government is committed to shaping their future; the nation’s youth and Narendra Modi share a deep bond, and the Modi government’s policies remain dedicated to the welfare of the youth and farmers.
Speaking to the media regarding the Anti-Paper Leak Bill, he remarked, “I believe this was the need of the hour. The Modi government has taken timely action in this direction. This law incorporates such stringent provisions that the use of unfair means in examinations will be prevented in the future.” Taking a significant step in this direction, the Modi government at the Centre has established a robust system and set of standards for the future. The Congress party ought to have engaged in some introspection; it would have been better had they offered constructive suggestions for this bill to strengthen democracy. Instead, the Congress failed to do so and merely wasted the House’s time. By passing this bill, the government—along with the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha—has achieved a milestone in India’s history. Dr. Poonia pointed out that during the Congress government’s tenure in Rajasthan, paper leaks occurred 17 times, driving students to suicide. Why didn’t Rahul Gandhi stage a protest against Ashok Gehlot? Why wasn’t Gehlot removed from office or asked to resign at that time? It is truly baffling. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi championed the slogan “Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon” (I am a girl, I can fight) and visited Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh; yet, at a time when 17 to 18 rape cases were being reported daily under Congress rule in Rajasthan, she did not visit the state even once. I believe the people of the country are observing the words, actions, and character of the siblings, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi. A record number of paper leaks occurred in Rajasthan under Ashok Gehlot’s watch; was he able to stop them? Why did he fail? Why do Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, and Ashok Gehlot not provide answers to the state’s youth? Meanwhile, the Modi government has introduced provisions for severe punishment and heavy fines for those involved in paper leaks, thereby instilling confidence among the youth and ensuring justice. Dr. Poonia stated that while the opposition’s role is to alert the government, properly discharge its duties, and raise issues in the House, the opposition is doing the exact opposite; it is constantly fleeing the House and shying away from discussions. They have been wasting the time allocated for debating matters of public interest in Parliament—first by walking out of the House, and later by evading the issues themselves. The opposition is conspiring to divert attention from the real issues, and the country’s youth and public are clearly witnessing this conduct of the Congress party.
Dr. Poonia remarked that Priyanka Gandhi has made frivolous and undignified comments regarding the country’s Education Minister, Pralhad Joshi. He emphasized that the Education Minister belongs to the entire nation, not just a single party. Priyanka Gandhi ought to respect the House and the Constitution—a copy of which she often holds in her hands. Pralhad Joshi holds his position by virtue of that Constitution, not through personal means, and she should respect that Constitution. He further stated that the Congress camp makes undignified remarks about a prestigious national cultural organization like the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) merely to gain cheap popularity.
