Mumbai. A remarkable station is about to be built on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor. This station, a masterpiece of engineering in the country and the world, is being built approximately 106 feet (32.5 meters) below ground level. Excavation equivalent to a 10-story building was required to construct the station. A three-story platform for the bullet train, along with a concourse and service floor, is also being constructed here. The Mumbai Bullet Train Station not only represents the speed of modern India but is also a marvel of engineering that future generations will be proud of.

The station will have six high-speed platforms, each approximately 415 meters long. Multiple bullet trains can arrive at this station simultaneously. For passenger convenience, it is being connected to the metro station and road.

Although the station is underground, proper lighting has been taken into account. A hole will be made for natural sunlight so that the passengers will feel open and comfortable inside it. Two gates will be made for entry and exit. One gate will connect to the metro station line Thoibi and the other will lead towards the MTNL building. About 34 percent of the excavation work for building the station has been completed. Ice and chiller plants are installed in these plants so that the temperature of the concrete remains controlled. At the bottom, work is being done with M6 grade temperature controlled concrete.
