New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new office of the Delhi State BJP on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg on Monday. Party National President JP Nadda was also present on the occasion. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “Today, during these auspicious days of Navratri, the Delhi BJP has got its new office. This is a moment filled with new dreams and new resolutions. I heartily congratulate all the workers of the Delhi BJP.” He said that it has been 45 years since the establishment of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The party has progressed with the blessings and hard work of many such personalities like Atal ji, Advani ji, Nana ji Deshmukh, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia ji, Murli Manohar Joshi ji.

The Prime Minister said that the seed from which the BJP has grown into such a huge banyan tree today was planted in October 1951. The Jana Sangh was founded under the leadership of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, and during that period, the Delhi Jana Sangh also got its first president in the form of Vaidya Gurudutt. When the BJP was founded in 1980, V.K. Malhotra became the first president of the Delhi BJP. The strength of the Delhi BJP today is the result of the sacrifice and hard work of millions of our workers over the past decades.

Modi said that the relationship between Delhi and the BJP is not just about a city and a party. It is about service, culture, and being a partner in joys and sorrows. First as the Jana Sangh and then as the BJP, our party has always been deeply connected to Delhi’s interests. He said that after a gap of many years, the BJP is now in power in Delhi. The people of Delhi have placed their dreams and hopes for a better future in the BJP.

The Prime Minister said that building new houses for slum dwellers, improving hundreds of government schools and hospitals in Delhi, running hundreds of electric buses in Delhi, working day and night to clean the Yamuna river, building luxurious living spaces on the banks of the Yamuna river and other parts of the city, when the Delhi BJP government and the Delhi BJP office work shoulder to shoulder in this manner, we will be able to fulfil the dream of a developed India and a developed Delhi more quickly.
