Bhupendra Patel Cabinet Reshuffled, 25 Inducted

Ahmedabad. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has carried out a major reshuffle in the cabinet led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gujarat amid the Bihar elections. Bhupendra Patel’s cabinet now includes 25 ministers. Six of the existing ministers have been given opportunities and retained. The maximum number of cabinet members in the state can be 27. Previously, the number of ministers was 16. Nine more ministers have been added compared to the previous government, but prominent figures like Hardik Patel, Alpesh Thakor, and Jayesh Radadiya have not found a place in the cabinet.
At the swearing-in ceremony held at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar on Friday, 10 former ministers were replaced, leaving 19 new ministers in the cabinet. Women’s representation has also been increased in the new cabinet. Team India cricketer Ravindra Jadeja’s wife Rivaba Jadeja and former minister Manisha Vakil have been inducted. Arjun Modhwadia, a prominent state leader who joined the BJP from the Congress, was appointed a minister. Furthermore, former IPS officer PC Baranda has been included in Bhupendra Patel’s team. Morbi MLA Kantibhai Amritia has also been appointed a minister.
