Santosh Trophy: Himanshu Rai to Captain Delhi Team

New Delhi. The Delhi team participating in the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship has been announced. Himanshu Rai will captain the Delhi team in this national championship. Sunil Dutt (Bank of India) will be the team manager. Deepankar Sharma has been appointed as the coach of the Delhi team for this Santosh Trophy National Football Championship. The Santosh Trophy National Football Championship will begin on December 19 at the Birsa Munda Football Stadium in Bihar. It is said that the Delhi team will leave a significant mark in this competition. According to team manager Sunil Dutt (Bank of India), Shikhar Shaw will be the vice-captain of the Delhi football team. The other players representing Delhi are: Karan Makkar, Nitesh Mehra, Abhishek Boxla, Zahid Zahoor, Vishwadev Basumatary, Nitin Bhandari, Sumit, Aryan, Pranjay Singh, Himanshu Rai, Rahul Rawat, Moirangthem Rajeshwar Singh, Piyush Bhandari, K S Shikhar, Dhruv Sharma, Vipin, Jigin, Milind Negi, Ejaz, Ashu, and coach Deepankar Sharma. The Delhi team will begin its campaign in the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship on December 19 against Railways. The other teams in Delhi’s group are the host states Jharkhand and Bihar.
