Harish Sharma 3×3 All India Basketball Championship Successfully Concludes

New Delhi. The Harish Sharma 3×3 All India Basketball Championship, held here at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, concluded successfully. The Tabata X No Look women’s team defeated Ally Oop 16-14 to win the women’s title in the Harish Sharma 3×3 All India Basketball Championship. In the men’s category, HS Tabata 9 defeated South West district 21-15 to claim the title. Delhi Minister Ashish Sood, who was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the championship, said that this championship is unique in itself. congratulate the organizers and the family of the late Harish Sharma for this event and assure them that the Delhi government will provide all possible support to promote sports. A sports mega-event will be organized in Delhi. Rupam Harish Sharma, Chairperson of the organizing committee of this championship, said that it is heartening to see that Harish Sharma’s legacy is being carried forward through this dynamic 3×3 format, which is the future of basketball, keeping his contribution to the sport alive. Sudhanshu Mittal, Co-Chairman of the organizing committee, said that the enthusiasm shown by the players in this championship is a testament to the attractive nature of the 3×3 format.

Mukesh Kalia, President of the Delhi Basketball Association (DBA), said that it is a pleasure to see the enthusiasm and talent of the youth from across the country. Adhav Arjun, President of the Basketball Federation of India (BFI), said that this championship witnessed outstanding performances from the teams, and I congratulate everyone, including the family of the late Harish Sharma, for this excellent event.
This championship was organized by Prithvi Nath Club (PNC), affiliated with the Delhi Basketball Association (DBA), which is the official host under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India (BFI). This tournament is supported by FIBA 3×3 and continues PNC’s legacy of promoting basketball through major tournaments such as the Master Prithvi Nath All India Basketball Championship, which is a tribute to Harish Sharma’s father. Among those present on the occasion were former Member of Parliament and BJP leader Poonam Mahajan, former Delhi Mayor and BJP leader Aarti Mehra, Chand Rehan, Senior Vice President of the Delhi Basketball Association, and Arjuna Awardee basketball player from Punjab, Parminder Singh, along with other dignitaries.
