Shyam Lal College (Morning) registers second consecutive win, defeats Amity University 7-0

Host Shyam Lal College (Morning) registered its second consecutive victory in the men’s category of the 12th Padma Shri Shyam Lal Memorial Hockey Tournament, defeating Amity University 7-0. For the winning team, Pratyush Singh Jaggi and Harsh Sharma scored two goals each. Nand Kishore, Bhupendra, and Rohit scored one goal each. Pratyush Singh Jaggi was awarded the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance. Shri Ram College of Commerce defeated SLC Alumni in a closely contested match 4-3. Hrithik from the winning team received the Player of the Match award. Karan Pal, Nakul, Sumit, and Hrithik scored one goal each for Shri Ram College of Commerce. Shashikant scored two goals for SLC Alumni, while D.S. Jaggi scored one. Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Science defeated Shyam Lal B team 3-2 to emerge victorious. Harsh Yadav scored two goals for the winning team and was awarded the Player of the Match award. Gurmukh scored one goal. Atul and Aditya scored one goal each for Shyam Lal B team. In another match played, Kirori Mal College defeated Amity team 2-1. Both goals for the winning team were scored by Chirag. Chirag was awarded the Player of the Match award for this match.
