was on a tour of Uttarakhand’s disaster-hit areas, had a narrow escape when a mountain began to rumble and collapse right in front of him. He and his team later moved safely ahead. The incident occurred on the Badrinath Highway. MP Baluni ran backwards to save his life. He also shared a video of this horrific scene on his Instagram handle. In his message, MP Baluni prayed to Baba Kedarnath for the safety, health, and well-being of all people.
Amidst the ongoing heavy rains and landslides in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Anil Baluni visited the disaster-affected areas on Wednesday. During this time, he not only took stock of the situation but also witnessed a horrific landslide. He shared the horrific scene of this landslide through a post on Instagram.
Baluni said that while he was passing by, debris suddenly began falling rapidly from the hill. He immediately stopped his vehicle and told others to retreat. However, the landslide was so rapid that Baluni had to run back quickly. On Thursday, Anil Baluni shared an emotional message on social media. He said, “This year’s heavy rainfall and landslides in Uttarakhand have left deep wounds that will take time to heal.” Describing the scene of the disaster as horrific, he said that this is a form of nature that shakes normal life. In his message, MP Baluni prayed to Baba Kedarnath for the safety, health, and well-being of all people. He also praised the administration, NDRF, SDRF, and the staff who are engaged in relief and rescue work under difficult circumstances.
