Congress also has little hope of victory
The Sunday Mail
New Delhi. The Grand Alliance has fallen behind in the Bihar elections even before voting. The BJP and JDU have taken a significant lead in announcing candidates. The news coming in is not good for the Grand Alliance. The alliance between the RJD and Congress is now merely nominal. Due to internal conflicts, Congress and RJD have been unable to announce names. It is possible that Congress will announce more candidates than the seats it will sideline RJD. Congress has realized that an alliance with the RJD will not change the situation. Therefore, it is fielding more candidates to strengthen its position for next time. The BJP-JDU alliance is leading on every front. It is possible that the NDA alliance may achieve its biggest victory ever. This has led to a sense of disappointment within the Grand Alliance. Tejashwi Yadav’s magic is not visible as it did last time. Congress is taking advantage of this. On Wednesday, 12 more names were announced while Nitish Kumar’s party has released the names of 57 candidates in the first list. It is being told that the names of JDU candidates have also been announced on the four seats claimed by Chirag Paswan.
