New Delhi. On Wednesday, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, once again attacked both the BJP and the Election Commission over the issue of vote theft. This time, he accused the Election Commission of vote theft in the Haryana elections. Previously, Rahul Gandhi had accused the Election Commission of vote theft in Karnataka and Maharashtra. He had talked about a hydrogen bomb-like explosion, but no such explosion has yet been reported. He raised the Haryana issue during a press conference on today, saying that vote theft led to Congress’s defeat. Rahul said that the H-File is not a matter of one seat, but a larger conspiracy to steal votes across states. Rahul Gandhi questioned the fake voter photos and fake home addresses. However, the BJP dismissed these allegations as fake and false. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, representing the BJP, said that even Congress leaders do not take Rahul’s false allegations seriously.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that for the first time in Haryana, the postal ballot and actual vote trends differed. In the postal ballot, Congress would have won 76 seats, while the BJP would have won only 17. Rahul said that Congress was ahead in the exit polls and postal ballots, but ultimately lost by 22,779 votes—a difference of over 100,000 votes. He claimed that everything he was saying was 100% true. Citing the example of a voter, Rahul Gandhi said that a person named Dalchand is a voter in both Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. His son is also a voter in Haryana and votes in Uttar Pradesh. There are thousands of such people. The name of Mathura’s Sarpanch Prahlad is also on the voter list in several places in Haryana. Showing a photo of a woman, Rahul said that a woman in Haryana voted 22 times in 10 different places under different names. He claimed that this woman is a Brazilian model. She cast her vote under the names Sweety, Vimala, Saraswati, etc. He said this isn’t happening at the booth level; it’s a centralized operation. Rahul Gandhi said, “We have files and it’s about how an entire state has been stolen. We suspect this isn’t just happening in individual seats, but at the state and national level. We received numerous complaints from our candidates in Haryana that something was amiss. We experienced similar incidents in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra. But we focused on Haryana and decided to gather full information about what happened there.”
Rahul Gandhi alleged that one in every eight voters in Haryana is fake. He said there are over 100,000 voters in Haryana with fake photos. Rahul Gandhi claimed that 2.5 million votes were stolen in Haryana. Rahul Gandhi questioned the fact that many voters’ house numbers on the voter list are zero. The Congress leader alleged that fake voters have no identification and disappear after casting their votes, making it difficult to identify them. He said that the investigation revealed the same address for 500 voters.
During a press conference, Rahul Gandhi aired video clips of several people claiming their votes had been cancelled. Rahul alleged that the votes of 3.5 lakh voters were cancelled during the Haryana elections.
