Ropeway Survey Begins for Nainital, Kainchi Dham, and Bhimtal; Relief from Traffic Jams Expected
Five Stations to be Built on the 35-Kilometer Long Ropeway Line

Nainital. Tourists, devotees, and travelers visiting Nainital, Kainchi Dham, and Bhimtal in Uttarakhand will soon get relief from traffic jams.
To make it easier to reach these tourist and religious sites, a private company has started a survey for a ropeway project on the instructions of the central and state governments. Following the commencement of the survey in Bhimtal, hope has been rekindled among tourists and locals for relief from traffic congestion. In the future, tourists visiting Nainital, Bhimtal, and Kainchi Dham will be able to avail themselves of great convenience through the ropeway.
Mayank Srivastava, the supervisor of the ropeway company, said that the agency has started the survey work from Bhimtal for this project. Approximately five stations are to be built on this proposed 35-kilometer-long ropeway line. These stations will be located in Ranibagh, Bhimtal, Bhowali, Nainital, and Kainchi Dham. Currently, the agency has started the survey work in the SIDCUL area of Bhimtal. Upon completion of this project, tourists will not only get relief from traffic jams but will also be able to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. This project by the central and state governments is considered a major and important step.
