Riya Sharma received a cash prize of ₹11,000 (eleven thousand rupees), a trophy, and a certificate as part of this award. This Delhi-based organization has been honoring one selected student from this school with the Shivdutt Sharma Talent Award every year for the past 19 years. The late Mr. Shivdutt Sharma was a lecturer at this school. In memory of Mr. Shivdutt Sharma, his son, Dr. Shrikrishna Sharma, a resident of Saidpur, has been personally present to present this award. Dr. Shrikrishna Sharma is also an alumnus of this college.
On this occasion, Dr. Shrikrishna Sharma said that the objectives with which our organization started the Shivdutt Sharma Talent Award in memory of his father, now seem to be moving in the right direction. This is an era of progress through hard work. For this, one has to move forward by making long-term plans. Shortcuts have no meaning in a long, happy, and successful life. Dr. Shrikrishna Sharma said that respect for elders and love for younger ones should be an integral part of one’s lifestyle. This behavior has proven to be very helpful in taking a person to their destination.
Maintain a spirit of unity and cooperation. This feeling also makes your family, region, state, and nation stronger. It is observed that the examination results are also improving every year. “Many congratulations to all the teachers, parents, and students, and my best wishes for your future endeavors,” said Dr. Sharma. The large presence of teachers, staff, parents, and prominent members of the community at the felicitation ceremony held at the college was particularly encouraging for the students.
