DCCI Announces Swayam as Co-Sponsor for India vs England Mixed Disability T20 International Series

Delhi. The DCCI has announced Swayam as the co-sponsor for the India vs England Mixed Disability T20 International Series. This series, to be played from January 29th to February 6th, will see players with physical disabilities, hearing impairments, and intellectual disabilities playing together in the same international format.
DCCI officials welcomed Swayam as a co-sponsor, stating that this partnership reflects a shared vision of empowering persons with disabilities and strengthening the platform for inclusive sports in India. DCCI General Secretary, Mr. Ravi Kant Chauhan, said, “We are delighted to welcome Swayam as a co-sponsor for the historic India vs England Mixed Disability T20 Series. This partnership reinforces our commitment to creating an inclusive sporting ecosystem where athletes of all abilities are given equal opportunities to perform and inspire. With Swayam’s support, we aim to take mixed disability cricket to a wider audience and further reinforce the message that sport is for everyone,” a DCCI official said.
Led by Captain Ravindra Sante, with Vivek Kumar as Vice-Captain, the Indian team comprises athletes from various disability categories, who will showcase unity, resilience, and high-performance sport on the international stage. The England Men’s Mixed Disability team, captained by Callum Flynn, has already begun training at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium. The visiting team arrived in India on Friday and is undergoing intensive practice sessions ahead of the first match of the series.
The Indian Men’s Mixed Disability team has arrived in Greater Noida after concluding its national training camp in Jaipur. The first three T20 matches will be played at the Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Stadium, Greater Noida, followed by the remaining two matches in Jaipur. This series is expected to be another significant step towards promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities in sports. (Sports Editor)
