The host Shyam Lal College (Morning) team continued its winning streak, securing its fourth consecutive victory in the men’s category of the 12th Padma Shri Shyam Lal Memorial Hockey Tournament and advancing to the semi-finals from Pool A. In the women’s category, the Vivekananda College team defeated the Bharti College team by a margin of 6-2 goals. The Shyam Lal College (Morning) team defeated the Shyam Lal College (Evening) team by a margin of 5-1, finishing the league with four wins out of four matches. Showcasing his excellent skills, the emerging forward Pratyush Singh Jaggi impressed the spectators by scoring three spectacular goals in this match. Shlok and Harsh contributed one goal each to their team’s victory. The only goal for the losing team was scored by Laxman. Pankaj from the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match award.
