Shyam Lal College (Morning) team wins the title

New Delhi. The Shyam Lal College team has once again successfully retained the men’s title in the 12th Padma Shri Shyam Lal Memorial Hockey Tournament. In the final match played here, the Shyam Lal College team continued its winning streak, defeating the Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Science team by a margin of 5-2 goals, and once again claimed the winner’s trophy. Ashish Sehrawat scored two goals for his team’s victory. Hans Sharma, Nand Kishore, and Farman scored one goal each. Sheshnath and Pulkit of the defeated team scored one goal each, reducing the margin of defeat. Ashish Sehrawat of the winning team was awarded the Player of the Match award. The chief guests of the final match, Jitendra Mahajan, MLA, Rohtas Nagar, Ritesh Suji, Councilor, Welcome Ward, and Principal of Shyam Lal College (Morning), Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar, presented the awards to the players. Mr. Mahajan encouraged the players and advised them to work hard in the game of hockey and reach new heights. He also said, “Shyam Lal College has a 40-year-old tradition of hockey. I was also a student here. When a hockey match was held at the university, three special buses full of supporters would go there. I have also seen V.S.
