BJP Haryana Incharge and former BJP Rajasthan State President Dr. Satish Poonia, while speaking to the media in Jaipur on the Union Budget 2026-27, said that this welfare budget of the Central Government under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi clearly reflects the dream of a developed India by 2047. He said that this budget clearly outlines the objectives of economic progress, which include investment, employment, and the creation of industries.
The provisions made in the Modi government’s budget to fulfill public expectations, to make institutions like education and MSMEs the backbone of the country, are certainly commendable. The Modi government’s budget has taken public convenience into consideration. He said that agriculture is the largest sector and the Modi government has focused on increasing farmers’ income in the budget. The budget sets goals such as making modern-day IT India’s strength and preparing the next generation. This comprehensively prepared budget sets the stage for the dream of a developed India.
Satish Poonia said that under the leadership of PM Modi, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented the 9th public welfare budget of her tenure. The Modi government is particularly committed to strengthening the country economically. A country’s economy is not judged solely by its GDP, but by its comprehensiveness, and therefore, all aspects have been taken into account in the budget.
Poonia said that a country’s economic progress is a major factor. He said that the government has ensured industry, investment, and employment in the budget. The Modi government is committed to meeting people’s expectations. This budget encompasses everything from educational innovation and infrastructure, culture to tourism.
He said that “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” is the core mantra of the Modi government. This budget is a completely inclusive budget. Work has been done to connect the Northeast and Jammu and Kashmir with the mainstream of the country. He said that in the coming times, when this budget is implemented, the infrastructure from Haryana to Rajasthan will be further strengthened.
The budget has focused on providing facilities for the common people of the country. Agriculture is the country’s largest sector. From increasing farmers’ income to strengthening cooperatives, and making modern-day IT a strong force for India, which can increase employment in the future and empower the new generation, this budget has been prepared in a completely comprehensive manner.
From Haryana to Punjab to Rajasthan, and from the Northeast to South India, the Modi government’s budget, I believe, encompasses all the elements that will give direction and impetus to the overall progress of that region.”
