From Villages to Wards: Every Grievance to Be Resolved on the Spot*

From May 1, CM to Collectors on Ground, Home Visits and Instant Redressal

New Delhi,।, Amid the intense summer heat of May, a different kind of movement is being witnessed across the villages and cities of Chhattisgarh. Citizens will no longer need to visit government offices repeatedly, as the administration itself is reaching their doorsteps. With this objective, the “Sushasan Tihar 2026” campaign has commenced from May 1 and will continue until June 10. The initiative aims to bring governance closer to the people, ensuring that grievances are not only heard but resolved on the spot.

Under this campaign, the entire administrative machinery—from Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to district collectors—will be actively present on the ground. Through home visits and special grievance redressal camps, applications will be processed on-site, files will be prepared immediately, and solutions will be delivered without delay.

The Chief Minister has emphasized that timely resolution of public grievances is the true foundation of good governance. Accordingly, collectors had already been directed to prioritize the disposal of pending cases by April 30. These include revenue matters such as mutation, partition, and demarcation, pending MGNREGA wage payments, issuance of income, caste, and domicile certificates, as well as essential services like electricity, transformers, and drinking water.

A new working model will be visible at the grassroots level under this initiative. In rural areas, camps will be organized in clusters of 15–20 ग्राम पंचायतs, while in urban areas, ward-based clusters will be covered. These camps will not only receive applications but also ensure on-the-spot delivery of benefits to eligible beneficiaries. All applications are to be resolved within a maximum period of one month.

The campaign also ensures active participation of public representatives and senior officials. Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs, and senior bureaucrats will visit these camps regularly, interact directly with citizens, and monitor the arrangements. This is expected to make governance more transparent and accountable.

A key highlight of the campaign will be the Chief Minister’s surprise visits. Vishnu Deo Sai will travel to different districts, inspect development works, hold direct interactions with villagers in local gatherings, and assess their concerns firsthand. Accountability will be fixed on the spot, and directions for immediate resolution will be issued.

Overall, “Sushasan Tihar 2026” is not just a government program but a comprehensive effort to bring administration closer to the people. The message is clear—citizens will no longer have to run from office to office; instead, the government will come to them and ensure timely resolution of their issues.
