Vadodara. Union Communications and Development of North Eastern Region (DONER) Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia participated in the 17th Prime Minister’s Employment Fair held here. Addressing the youth of Gujarat during the appointment letter distribution program, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is continuously moving towards a developed India by linking employment generation with the path of self-reliance.

Scindia said that through the National Education Policy, a practical education system based on Indian values ​​has been designed for 21st-century students. New medical colleges, IITs, universities, and skill development programs across the country symbolize this change. The Union Minister stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the ‘Youth-First’ approach has been given top priority. The Modi government’s policies are empowering youth not only to become job seekers but also job creators.

Scindia stated that under the Rozgar Abhiyaan launched by the Prime Minister in 2022, over 1.86 lakh youth have been employed in the Postal Department in 17 phases so far. By the 16th phase, 1,77,907 youth had been provided employment in the Postal Department. In this 17th phase, 8,295 youth were awarded appointment letters at 40 locations across the country, bringing the total number of appointments made through the Postal Department’s job fair to 186,202.
