Vadodara. Union Communications and Development of North Eastern Region (DONER) Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia participated in the 17th Prime Minister’s Employment Fair held here. Addressing the youth of Gujarat during the appointment letter distribution program, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is continuously moving towards a developed India by linking employment generation with the path of self-reliance.
Scindia said that this fair is not just an employment opportunity, but a celebration of self-confidence and family happiness. He said that Prime Minister Modi has given a new direction to the youth by giving them the status of Amrit Generation. Today, education, skills, and employment in the country are linked to a single goal: building a “Developed India @ 2047.”
Scindia said that through the National Education Policy, a practical education system based on Indian values has been designed for 21st-century students. New medical colleges, IITs, universities, and skill development programs across the country symbolize this change. The Union Minister stated that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, the ‘Youth-First’ approach has been given top priority. The Modi government’s policies are empowering youth not only to become job seekers but also job creators.
Today, India ranks 63rd in the Ease of Doing Business Index, second globally in mobile manufacturing, and third in automobile production. The development of the COVID vaccine is a testament to the country’s youthful energy and innovative spirit.
Scindia stated that under the Rozgar Abhiyaan launched by the Prime Minister in 2022, over 1.86 lakh youth have been employed in the Postal Department in 17 phases so far. By the 16th phase, 1,77,907 youth had been provided employment in the Postal Department. In this 17th phase, 8,295 youth were awarded appointment letters at 40 locations across the country, bringing the total number of appointments made through the Postal Department’s job fair to 186,202.
India’s future lies in the hands of youth: Scindia
Scindia told the youth that they hold not just appointment letters, but the future of the country. Don’t consider this merely a job opportunity, but the beginning of your dreams and a journey to nation-building. When the government’s resolve and the youth’s energy come together, India emerges victorious. He called upon the youth to move forward with skill, courage, and dreams, and to work in such a way that even time salutes their courage.
