Prime Minister Modi Attacks Congress and Rjd

The Sunday Mail
Begusarai/Samastipur. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal and the Congress in public meetings in Samastipur and Begusarai regarding the Bihar Assembly elections. Modi said that this is not an alliance but a lathbandhan (a coalition of sticks). Their people are fighting among themselves and wielding sticks. PM Modi said that since the announcement of the Bihar elections, we have seen one thing clearly: on one side is the NDA, a sensible leadership. On the other side is the maha lathbandhan (grand alliance) wielding sticks.
The PM paid tribute by offering flowers at the statue of Jananayak Karpuri Thakur in Karpuri village, Samastipur. The PM then met the family members of Karpuri Thakur, known as the messiah of the poor, and addressed the public meeting. In his address, PM Modi said that you have always trusted Modi and showered blessings on Nitish Kumar. This faith of yours is taking development towards a new era. On this occasion, the PM blessed the Chhath devotees by offering them soup and fruits. Addressing the public gathering, PM Modi said, “I attest to the huge turnout at Simaria Dham. When Chhathi Maiya is mentioned, Sharda Sinha comes to mind.” Modi said, “This is not a public gathering, but a gathering of new resolutions. Therefore, once again, it is this love and trust for the NDA government, and yours, that is taking Bihar towards a new era of development.”
In his address, PM Modi sharply targeted the Lalu family. He said, “I don’t need to tell you what they have done. These people are on bail in cases involving scams worth thousands of crores. They have even stolen the title of ‘People’s Leader.’ The people of Bihar will not tolerate this at all. They have tampered with Bihar’s future. Our NDA government is committed to development.”
Turning on the mobile phone flash, he said, “There’s no need for a lantern now.”
Modi asked people to turn on their mobile phone flashes. When they did, PM Modi asked, “Do you still need a lantern despite all this light?” He said, “Friends, the whole country is watching. People no longer need lanterns. People no longer need lanterns.” PM Modi said, “Our government considers Karpoori Thakur a source of inspiration. We are dedicated to serving the poor. Isn’t providing them with permanent homes, free medical treatment, free food grains, tap water, and toilets not serving the poor? The NDA government has made Karpoori Thakur’s ideology the foundation of good governance. We are working for the welfare of the poor, Dalits, backward classes, and extremely backward classes.”
The country will soon be free from the terror of Maoism.
PM Modi said that during the RJD’s rule, murder, kidnapping, and ransom crimes became an industry. The hope of justice for Dalits and backward classes was waning. Naxalism flourished in Bihar during the RJD and Congress regimes. It was difficult for people to even step out of their homes. Maoist terror claimed hundreds of lives. In 2014, you installed the NDA government in Delhi. I resolved to free the country from Maoists. We have broken the backbone of Naxalism and Maoism in Bihar. Very soon, Bihar and the country will be free from Maoist terror. This is Modi’s guarantee.
Bihar is not going to stop now
PM Modi said that Bihar is not going to stop now. Appealing to NDA workers, the PM said, “Stay united like this. Every worker must work together at every booth. The BJP, JDU, LJP, HAM, and RLSP are all on this platform. Whichever candidate is contesting among these, we must ensure their victory.”
