PM flags off four Vande Bharat Express trains
– Infrastructure is the reason for economic growth in developed countries – Modi

Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off four new Vande Bharat Express trains in Varanasi on Saturday. The PM said that countless pilgrimage sites across the country are being connected to the Vande Bharat network, and this is an important step towards making India’s heritage cities symbols of the country’s development. The Prime Minister flagged off four new Vande Bharat Express trains at the Varanasi Railway Station in Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency. These new trains will run on the Varanasi-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru routes. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present on the occasion.
Beginning his speech with a praise for Lord Shiva, PM Modi said in Bhojpuri, “We are happy to see that such a wonderful event was organised on Dev Diwali, and now today too, it is a very auspicious day. We wish you all a very happy and prosperous festival of development.”
PM Modi said that the economic development of developed countries around the world has been driven by their infrastructure. In countries that have seen significant progress and development, their infrastructure development has been a major driving force behind their progress. Imagine an area where there has been no train for a long time, there are no tracks, no trains go there, and there is no station. But as soon as all these things are in place, the area will automatically begin to develop. If a village has been without a road for years, and a small road is built there, people’s activities begin there.
Wherever infrastructure, i.e. facilities like big bridges, big highways, are developed, the progress of that area starts. Just like our cities, towns and villages develop with the coming of roads, the same is the condition of our country. Our country also starts developing in the same way. So many airports have been built in our country, so many Vande Bharat trains are running in our country, which shows how fast India is moving forward on the path of development.
