While PM Modi was speaking, the public began leaving their seats.
Where is the anger against the CM?
The Sunday Mail
Dehradun. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced billions of rupees to mark the 25th anniversary of the state’s establishment, but he may have backed off after sensing the public’s displeasure. If PM Modi had spoken to the elected representatives individually, perhaps the truth would have been revealed. Most leaders would have stated that the person they trusted and made CM had failed to live up to their trust. The current situation in Uttarakhand is a very worrying one. Prime Minister Modi himself, observing the situation during his speech,
must have realized that everything was amiss in the state. For the first time, the people of Uttarakhand began leaving during PM Modi’s speech. The empty chairs also indicated considerable anger. The IB will submit its report and explain the situation. Prime Minister Modi’s slogan of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas has been torn to shreds in Uttarakhand. The hope with which Prime Minister Modi had made defeated MLA Pushkar Singh Dhami the Chief Minister again has completely failed. If Prime Minister Modi studies social media once, the truth will come out about what Dhami has done in the last five years. BJP and Prime Minister Modi himself rely on social media. With the help of social media, BJP has reached such heights. The entire Uttarakhand is burning with the agitation for basic facilities. Now, in an election year, the conflict between the plains and the mountains has begun. The common man isn’t openly talking about the mountains versus the plains, but the politicians have. The MLAs’ speeches during the special session of the Assembly, marking the 25th anniversary of the state’s establishment, spoke of this conflict extensively. What BSP MLA Mohammad Shahzad said or is saying in the House is the stark truth. Upon becoming ministers and MLAs, almost all the leaders leave the mountains and head to the Terai region of Dehradun or Haldwani, building large houses and acquiring farmhouses. Then, when they find an opportunity, they open hotels and other businesses in Goa or other areas. This means that whoever gets the opportunity engages in plunder. The BSP MLA has exposed another truth: the wives and relatives of ministers and MLAs all receive postings in the plains. Following their example, officers also follow suit. The officers of the Migration Commission, formed to stop migration, have themselves sold their ancestral homes and started living in Dehradun. During a discussion in the House, when BSP MLAs were exposing the truth about MLAs elected from the hills, BJP MLA Kishore Upadhyay angrily created a controversy by talking about stopping the water of Ganga. Now the BJP leaders from the plains started threatening to block the roads to the hills. The name of this BJP leader is Pramod Khari. The statement is going viral on social media. Not only this, the protesters, who are protesting on different issues, have started demanding the resignation of CM Dhami. The anger among the general public is so much that it will become difficult for BJP candidates to enter the villages. The protesters have started saying that if only Yogi Adityanath were their CM. At least the goons in the hills would have been controlled. Now the question is why did this happen? Who is responsible? Naturally, the head of the state will be responsible. Today, Pushkar Singh Dhami is the head of the state. After losing the assembly elections, Prime Minister Modi’s re-appointment of Dhami as Chief Minister sent the message that he was very close to the high command. Prime Minister Modi hoped that Dhami, being young, would take everyone along and develop the state honestly. But that hasn’t happened. As has always been the case, everyone forgets the development of the hills as soon as they get a chance. Dhami did the same. Instead of focusing on the basic amenities and development of the hills, non-hill officials and those giving directions from Delhi focused on other major projects and pleasing outside companies. CM Dhami also abandoned the real issues and concentrated on strengthening himself. When voices arose within the party, regionalism first emerged, and now the politics of hill versus non-hill power has begun. This attempted to divert attention from the ongoing protests and anger in the hills. CM Dhami’s government tried to suppress or divert the protests. However, the situation in the hills has become very serious. Thank you, Prime Minister. Modi should try to find out some truth during his visit to Dehradun and take a decision soon. BJP is sure to suffer losses due to the current faces and pawns. End
